Frequently Asked Questions about the CFC Youth for Family and Life (YFL) YOUTH CAMP


Question #1: What is a CFC YFL Youth Camp?
Answer: CFC YFL Youth Camp serves as the entry point of a young adult into becoming part of the CFC YFL family.

 

Question #2: Who can join the CFC YFL Youth Camp?
Answer: The CFC YFL Youth Camp is open to all Roman Catholic youths or young adults ages 12-21.


Question #3: How long does the CFC YFL Youth Camp run?
Answer: The CFC YFL Youth Camp is a two-day-two-night program. It usually starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday morning. For this REFRESH! Youth Camp, it will start at 6PM of Friday, April 16, and will end at 12NN of Sunday, April 18.




Question #4: What are the things done in a CFC YFL Youth Camp?
Answer: The CFC YFL Youth Camp has a series of sessions and talks. But the participants of the camp would not only sit down and listen. The CFC YFL Youth Camp is also programmed with icebreakers (youth games), fellowship activities, workshops, and many more.


Question #5: How do we register? Is there a registration fee? What does the registration fee cover?
Answer: For this April 2010 Refresh! CFC YFL Youth Camp, the registration fee is Php 400.00. Participants can register on the first day of the youth camp itself, i.e., on the 16th of April (Friday). Registration starts at 5PM. The registration fee covers the participants CFC YFL Youth Camp Kit; it also covers the food of the participants and their board and lodging. Though the food is already covered by the registration fee, the participants may still bring food or snacks if they want to.


Question #6: What are the things that the participant must bring in the CFC YFL Youth Camp?
Answer: A checklist of the "Things to Bring" can be downloaded at the "Downloads" page of this site. The participants are to bring clothes worth of two days and two nights. Mas maganda kung sosobrahan ninyo kaysa sa magkulang kayo sa damit. Also, they are to bring toiletries, e.g., soap, shampoo, towel, tissue, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Personal medicines are also encouraged to be brought. In addition, the participants are to bring a sleeping bag or bed mattress.



Question #7: Will I get anything out of the CFC YFL Youth Camp?
Answer: Kung baga sa Pilipinas Got Talent, "it's a BIG YES!" What will you get? Fun! Friendship! A refreshed life centered on Christ! And a lot of blessings! And you'd be getting more than what you have given out for the registration fee.
